Students learn on high-quality pianos and regularly rotate between different instruments, developing the flexibility needed for performances and exams.
With over 1,000 books, teaching resources, pedal extenders and adjustable seating, we create a personalised learning experience for every student.
Our studio is designed for students and families to feel at home. Parents can relax with complimentary tea, coffee, and cookies, while siblings enjoy our giant whiteboard and homework area. Our photo wall and “Students of the Month” board celebrate every student, creating a strong sense of belonging.

Fees are payable September – July via Direct Debit Mandate, pro-rata’d for those joining mid-month. No Payment in August.

At MMQ we provide opportunities to help you develop further as a musician. For an additional fee, you can access these additional activities as you progress in your learning, simply by being part of the MMQ community.
They are different in nature. The dynamics developed in-studio and at home are quite different. Students coming to the studio come with a different mindset, they are ready for their piano lesson, in the “special place”. They play with other kids in the waiting area, listen to other students as they finish their lessons. It is more motivating and encouraging.
Students have the chance also to play in high quality instruments every week, which ultimately helps to develop a better technique and sound.
Yes. Having an instrument at home is essential for practising between lessons. Regular practice is where students make the biggest progress and develop their skills.
Depending on the student’s level, a good quality keyboard with 88 weighted keys can be a suitable starting point. Choosing an instrument can feel overwhelming, so we are happy to help. We provide recommendations for different budgets and can advise you on the best option for your needs.
We deliberately don’t have a per lesson rate. We offer instead a comprehensive group of services that not only include the lessons, but also a specific parent support service (informative webinars, emails, meetings, reports and newsletters), performance opportunities and books and materials. All included in your monthly fee.
We are unable to offer make-up lessons or reschedule missed lessons. The monthly fee covers only a specific weekly lesson slot during the school term, and lessons cancelled by the student, regardless of the notice or reason, cannot be rescheduled nor refunded.
If you are unable to attend a lesson in person, online lessons may be available as an alternative, which can be especially helpful for last-minute issues, illness or unexpected circumstances.
If you cannot attend a lesson, please let us know so your teacher knows whether to expect you at the studio. When a lesson is missed, your teacher will provide notes or a video with guidance so the student can continue practising according to their programme until the next lesson.
If another student cancels a lesson during the same week, we are happy to offer that available slot to you whenever possible.
Before stopping lessons, let us know if you have any kind of issue. Is the slot not working for you anymore? Does your kid have issues engaging? We are always open to discussion and available to help.
If we are not able to help with whatever issue you are facing (financial, family issue, etc.) just let us know as soon as possible. We only require one month’s paid notice in order to stop lessons. You let us know at least one month in advance and we’ll take care of the rest.
