Piano Teacher

Carolina Cury is an accomplished musician specialising in piano, voice, and contemporary music practices. She trained at the Venice Conservatoire and later at Trinity Laban Conservatoire, where she achieved a Master’s and Artist Diploma, cultivating a distinctive artistic voice that bridges classical, contemporary, and pop genres.

Carolina has performed at prestigious venues including Weil Hall (Carnegie Hall, New York), Sale Apollinee (Teatro La Fenice, Venice), and St James Piccadilly (London). Her performances, which have included opening for Max Richter at the London Coliseum, are celebrated for their innovative artistry and emotional depth.

In 2018, Carolina released her debut solo album, Carnaval, and is currently preparing to release her second album in 2025, blending classical contemporary and pop. This year, she will also release Free & Equal Vol. 2 in 2025, an album of arrangements for piano, voice, and electronics created in collaboration with Studio Richter Mahr, donating all profit to Doctors Without Borders.

In addition to her performance career, Carolina is pursuing a PhD in performance and composition through a feminist lens, reflecting her dedication to exploring new ways of making and understanding music, through her solo practice and collaborations, including projects with dance and choir.

As a teacher, Carolina is deeply committed to nurturing the unique potential of every student. She integrates improvisation and creative exploration into her lessons, encouraging students to develop their own artistic voices while building a strong technical foundation. Carolina’s teaching philosophy emphasises individuality, confidence and joy in music-making.
