Kate Logvinyuk is a classical pianist, winner of many international piano competitions, and a passionate piano teacher with more than ten years of experience.
Kate received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in piano performance at the Gnesin Academy of Music and completed her studies by passing an Artist Diploma programme at the Schwob School of Music in the USA. Since her childhood, Kate has won many national and international competitions.
She has performed on famous stages in the USA and Europe as a soloist and as part of a chamber ensemble.
During her studies, Kate has shown great interest in teaching. With a strong musical background, having trained with renowned piano teachers, and feeling the need to share her knowledge, Kate enjoys putting herself into teaching.
The foundation of Kate’s teaching method is a delicate, individual attitude and understanding of each student’s needs and abilities. In her piano lessons, she focuses on teaching students the basics of music theory, development of technical skills, ear training, sight-reading, improvising and much more. Kate believes that mastering these skills is essential for further musical development. Thanks to her teaching methods, beginners quickly achieve their first successes at the piano and enjoy the constant progression through fun musical games, exposure to the interesting repertoire, and through artistic development. Advanced students continue their studies by mastering the subtle nuances of piano playing and delving deeper into the art of music.
